Anna Lindquist Brady autobiography

Scope and Contents

Autobiography, correspondence, and photographs of family members. The letters are between Anna Brady and Lorin F. Wheelwright relating to donations for the Brigham Young University Centennial. Anna Lindquist was born in Fairview, Utah, attended Snow College and Brigham Young University, and married William Wells Brady (1886-1964). She later moved with her husband to Rigby, Idaho. She was the mother of four children, was a musician, and was active in Mormon Church callings.

Horace H. Cummings diary and autobiography

Scope and Contents This collection consists of typescripts of biographies and histories of members of the Hammond family and their ancestors. The biography of Jasper Melvin Hammond (1882-1958) was written "by his wife and daughters" sometime after his death. Jasper, often called Jesse, was born in Providence, Utah but was raised in Marysville, Idaho. This collection includes a letter to LeGrand Baker (Archivist at BYU Archives) which is a biography of the author's husband's grandfather, Alonzo Harrington LeBaron. Mrs. Hutching's information for this account was derived from notes written by Sarah Agnes LeBaron Hutchings and from a short history Sarah dictated to her grandson Theodore Bohn. Also included are two family group sheets of the Alonzo LeBaron Families (he had two wives) and a pedigree chart of his ancestors.

George Reynolds letters

Handwritten and signed letters to his wife, Amelia. Twenty-eight itmes were written from 1879-1881 in the Utah Peniteniary while Reynolds was serving a two-year sentence for polygamy. Reynolds tells about prison life, reaffirms his dedication to the Mormon faith, and discusses family matters.
