Collection of lantern slides of art

Scope and Contents

Collection is composed of 69 lantern slides dating from approximately 1888 to 1950. The majority of the slides are photographs of paintings by John Hafen. There are also two slides of a painting by Rose Hartwell and two slides of paintings by John Hafen's son, Virgil Hafen. There are also two portraits on John Hafen, one by Will Vawter and the other photographer not identified. There is also a photograph taken by George Edward Anderson of John Hafen's son, Joseph, and John's wife, Thora.

E. Keith Eddington papers

Lynn Fausett papers

Scope and Contents

Correspondence, books, and photographic studies of American muralist Lynn Fausett. Fausett did a great deal of work commemorating Utah and LDS Church History. There are more than 3000 transparencies Fausett took as studies for his work. There are brochures and programs from Fausett's mural displays and exhibits. Additionally, some books from Fausett's library are included.

William Henry Jackson papers

Scope and Contents The collection includes multiple typescripts of two journals (1866-1867), correspondence (1924-1953), book manuscripts, news clippings (1929-1966), and mementos from Jackson's round-the-world trip for the World Transportation Commission (1894-1896). The photographs and art work, which comprise the bulk of the collection, include 1082 individual items. B. F. Larsen slides

Materials include 225 photographs and 120 duplicates, for a total of 345 slides. 301 of these slides are photographs that may have been B.F. Larsen, the artist, of his paintings between approximately 1943 and 1966. The other 44 slides are landscape photographs taken throughout Utah between approximately 1943 and 1966.

Leola G. Merrill papers
