Anti-Mormon lecture notes

Scope and Contents Contains two notebooks of notes given at Anti-Mormon lectures likely given in Lancaster, Ohio in 1918. Speakers included Arthur C. Latimer and a Mrs. Williams. The notes document public addresses by disaffected Mormons about polygamy, temple rites, and other aspects of Mormon life.

Adam S. Bennion papers

The materials relate to Bennion's personal, educational, business, and religious activities. The largest amount of the materials relate to his speeches. The bulk of correspondence is between other apostles and general authorities of the Mormon Church.

Marie F. Felt speeches and Sunday school lessons

Scope and Contents Handwritten and typewritten drafts and final versions of speeches and Sunday school lessons. Also included are newspaper clippings, magazine articles, and a biography of Felt by her children. Most of the materials are intended for Mormon children and teach simple precepts of the Mormon faith.

William H. Homer research papers

Scope and Contents Collection includes handwritten and typewritten research notes, articles, genealogies, diaries, and biographies. Also included is Homer family correspondence. The family members lived in Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. The notes relate to Homer's research on Martin Harris (1783-1875). Also included is a diary Homer's father, William Harrison Homer, Sr., kept while he was on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England from 1867 to 1868.

Andrew Jenson papers

Scope and Contents Correspondence; autobiography of Jenson's life from the time he lived in Denmark to his residence in Utah; drafts of writings for the newspaper column, "Jenson Travels," appearing in the Deseret News newspaper; travel notes; photographs; and memorabilia. Jenson's writings largely pertain to Mormon and Utah history. Dated 1850 to 1935.

Scope and Contents Handwritten diaries, correspondence, lists, minutes, patriarchal blessings, and notes. The materials relate to Nuttall's involvement in numerous Mormon Church and Utah Militia activities. Nuttall's position as secretary to the president of the Mormon Church allowed him to record various items on church conduct and doctrine.
