Thomas was born in England in 1830, and he married Mary Morgan Whitby in 1849. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1850 and migrated to St. Louis, Missouri, in 1854. Biographical sketch of Peter Beck

Scope and Contents

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography of Peter Beck. The author of the item is unknown. Peter Beck was born in Denmark in 1850 and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when he was eight years old. He migrated to Utah in 1862. Included are some comments by Beck relating to his journey to Utah. Beck became a rancher and farmer and settled in American Fork, Utah. He married two women, had 17 children, and died in 1927.

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Shelley writes about William Thomas Brown. Brown was born in England in 1843 and migrated to Utah in 1852. During the journey, cholera killed both of Brown's parents. He lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, and later settled in Alpine, Utah.
