Stereographs of Colorado River survey
Collection includes 92 stereographs of the Colorado River taken as part of the U.S. Geological Survey of the river undertaken by John Wesley Powell and Almon Harris Thompson. Some of the photographs were taken by E.O. Beaman.
Stereographs of Western scenes
This collection contains three stereo views. One is of the Pacific Rail Road in Humboldt Canyon published by E. & H. T. Anthony & Co.; one is of the east side of Salt Lake City taken by C. R. Savage; and one is of Salt Lake City taken by C. L. Pond.
Stereoscope and stereo cards of Church history
Contains one stereoscope and 56 stereo cards. Materials date from the 1800s.
James E. Talmage photographs
Contains images of foreign countries, geological sites and samples, family members and friends, and subjects pertaining to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Includes 47 glass negatives, 19 film negatives, 227 stereographs, 727 slides, and 226 photographs.
Underwood and Underwood stereographs
Underwood & Underwood stereographs of South Africa
Collection includes 108 stereographs with images of the Boer War in South Africa between 1899 and 1902. The stereographs are housed in three small cases, with captions on the back of the cards in six languages.
Carleton E. Watkins stereographs
Collection includes two stereographs, one of Alcatraz Island in California the the other of Witch Rocks in Utah.
Hawley C. White collection
Collection includes 437 lantern slides, 148 stereographs, 189 glass plate negatives, one stereoviewer, and one field camera. The lantern slides include images of the First World War; the stereographs show images of locations around the world taken by H.C. White; and the glass negatives contain images of ships and shipyards. Photographs were originally taken between the 1890s and the 1920s.
Romanzo E. Wood photographs and stereographs
Collection includes four photographs and six stereographs of the area around Lake Tahoe and Emerald Bay, taken between the 1870s and the 1900s.
