Reel-to-reel audio recording of the soundtrack to the motion picture Casablanca. The reel is seven inches in diameter.

These papers document Elian's life and career as a harp soloist from the 1910s onward, her year as a musician in Hollywood studio orchestras (1926-1954), and significantly her marriage (1936-1946) to film composer Max Steiner. Also covered is Elian's concert career as a member of symphony orchestras and ballet companies as well as soloist appearing worldwide (1950-1986).

Materials include classical, stage, and film music sketches and scores, phonograph disk and audio tape recordings, videotapes, books, awards and memorabilia. Dated approximately 1950-1995.

Approximately 2000 commericially or privately produced motion picture soundtrack albums, both acetate and vinyl, covering a period of some fifty years. Titles range from A.D. to Zulu Dawn and are representative of all the major studios anf film composers from the 1930s to the 1980s.
