Life and teachings of the masters of the Far East
Typewritten essay. This item has the same title as Spalding's five volume work published from 1924 to 1955. The date of the composition of this article is uncertain. Spalding writes about his impressions of religion in the Far East, primarily India, after a visit. The essay talks mainly about mysticism and spiritualism.
Richard McNemar letter
Handwritten letter, dated October 8, 1833, and addressed to "Richard." The item was signed "Eleazar Wright" by which McNemar was apparently signing letters at this time. The name Eleazar was given to him by Lucy Wright and the name Wright was taken as a tribute to her. McNemar writes to his son as a "spiritual" rather than as a natural father and discusses religious matters.
