Lynn Marie Stranger was a young woman living in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1963 and gathered materials for a term paper on the D-Day invasion of Normandy on 6 June 1944. She wrote to American veterans and this collection is what they sent to her. All the materials relate to the invasion. The diary is from June 8 to July 15 1944. The photographs came from a camera taken from a German prisoner of war. They are pictures of two German soldiers....
