Jedediah Stanley Anderson papers
Correspondence, certificates, journals, newespaper articles, pamphlets, magazines, notes, and personal items. The correspondence is between Anderson , his family, friends, and leaders of the Mormon Church. Many of the items deal with personal and family matters. The diaries are in six volumes and include genealogical items. The newspaper clippings relate to Anderson and his family.
Will W. Bowman papers
The Bowman papers include correspondence, inter-office memos, certificates, newspaper clippings, albums and scrapbooks, journalism class assignments, class lecture notes, editorial budgets, genealogy, photographs, publications, and memorabilia.
Joseph Hatten Carpenter diaries
Handwritten diaries, notes, account books, correspondence, and a translation of the Book of Mormon into the Samoan language. Carpenter writes about his mission for the Mormon Church in Samoa and about his activities as a resident of Manti. Late in life, Carpenter moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Also included is a printed copy of a microfilm copy of a handwritten diary. Carpenter also writes about his early life and his travels to northern Germany and France in 1884 and 1885.
Register of Deseret National Bank transactions
The folder contains handwritten and printed banking transactions between 1875-1877. One is a deposit slip, while the other is a statement that an outstanding loan cannot be collected.
Charles W. Hardy papers
Correspondence, diaries, financial records, legal documents, irrigation and canal documents, pipeline descriptions, railroad advertisements, receipts, and notes. The materials relate largely to Hardy's work on railroads and other projects.
John R. Haslam notes
Handwritten and printed receipt and notes for orders. The items are dated 13 Jan. 1875, 14 Dec. 1877, and 188? The materials relate to orders including financial transactions with Brigham Young, second president of the Mormon Church.
Hussey, Dahler and Company Bankers deposit slips
Handwritten and printed deposit slips and photocopies stating that a certain amount of money was placed in the bank. The items have been damaged by fire.
Little Georgie Dunford died Wednesday morning 1 o'clock
Note stating the death of George Dunford in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the son of George Dunford (1822-1891), who visited Palestine and other countries from 1872 to 1873. "died ... October 30th 1872, buried friday Nov the 1st at 3 PM lived four days after Papa started on mission to Palestine."
John Heber Lloyd notes
Handwritten notes recorded in a bound volume. Also included is a photocopy of that item. The notes relate largely to family matters and include birth records and patriarchal blessings. Also included are notes relating to wood work on the interior of the Salt Lake Temple of the Mormon Church.
Steven K. Madsen papers
