Morris Miles collected music documents
Includes an alleged parish register, dated 1691, written over a circa-15th-century monk's chant; "La Marseillaise Chant Patriotique," a printed item written in French, 1848; a silk menu from a banquet held for "the president of the republic," 1898, also in French; and a printed booklet entitled, "Stories of the Operas Produced by the Metropolitan Opera Company" for the 1894-95 season. Morris gathered the items during his world travels.
Moore Ethier Company playbill
The folder contains a printed playbill of the opera "The Beautiful Heart Story." The production was to be held at the "Opera House Tonight." The location of the production is uncertain.
