Belinda Boone letters

Scope and Contents Two handwritten and signed letters by Belinda Boone in Tuba City, Arizona addressed to her son Arkee L. Boone in Richfield, Utah in 1953. In these letters Boone reminds her son to be thankful to the family that took him in to help him get an education, to study hard, and to stay with the Mormon Church.

Oliver Boardman Huntington autobiography

Scope and Contents Handwritten unsigned, autobiographical account believed to have been written by Huntington. The author writes of being called by Brigham Young and Daniel H. Wells to go with an expedition to Carson Valley and tell the Mormons there to return to Utah to meet the United States army, known as "Johnston's Army" in 1857. Huntington gives and account of this expedition and mentions those who participated in it.

Content Description Contains one small red Lady's Almanac in which Richards recorded brief entries about her daily life in Malden, Illinois in 1856. Includes entries about her daughter Carrie's health issues and eventual death. Almanac contains advertisements, poems, astronomical and Zodiac signs, information about female medical schools, stories, and information on women's domestic issues. Dated 1856.

Genevieve Asay Smith notes

Scope and Contents Original notes used by Genevieve Asay for a talk given on 7 May 1978. In her three-minute address Smith comments on the degrading of womanhood by lesbians, who are trying to pervert as many children as possible. They teach the young through books that homosexuality is a balanced sex life. Smith also says people should fight against such influences and save the constitution which is hanging by a thread.
