Archibald Gardner autobiography

Scope and Contents Handwritten autobiography of Gardner, detailing his birth and life in Scotland. Autobiography also documents immigration to Canada, marriage, and baptism in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Also included are what seem to be financial notes from the years 1858 to 1862. Dated approximately 1858 to 1870.

Edwin Harley diaries

Scope and Contents Photocopies of handwritten diaries. Harley came to Council Bluffs, Iowa, in 1848 and migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1852. He settled in Nephi, Utah, where he was a farmer and served in numerous local positions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Harley writes about his daily activities often in short notes. Also included are financial records from 1846 to 1868.

Charles Alfred Harper diary and biography

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a handwritten diary and a biography of Harper. The diary covers the dates from April 7 to August 8, 1847 when Harper came to Utah with one of the earliest Mormon pioneer companies. He worked as a wheelwright. Also included are notes of financial transactions in Holladay, Utah, in 1895.

Johan Christian Poulsen autobiography and diary

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a handwritten autobiography and diary in Danish. The autobiography covers Poulsen's life to 1864 when he began his diary. Poulsen was converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1862. He served as a missionary for that faith in Denmark from 1864 to 1866. He migrated to the Utah and settled in Millard County. Also included are patriarchal blessings of family members in English.
