Scope and Contents Photocopies of a typewritten autobiography. Cazier was born in Ordham County, Kentucky. His family moved to Illinois in 1841 where he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1845. He later moved to Nauvoo, Illinois, to Council Bluffs, Iowa, and to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1850. He settled at Nephi, Utah, in 1851 and later married polygamously. Cazier also writes about his family life.

John Druce diary

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a handwritten diary. Druce was born in England; was apprenticed as a baker in London in the 1830s; moved to Manchester; joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1842; migrated to the United States in 1846; worked as an engraver in New York State; migrated to Utah in 1861; settled in Salt Lake City, Utah; and served on a mission for the Church in the Eastern States in 1876.

James Holt autobiography

Scope and Contents Typescript of an autobiography. Holt writes about his childhood, conversion to the Mormon Church, mission for that faith in Tennessee, and migration to Salt Lake City, Utah. He also tells about the confusion in the Mormon Church after the death of its first president, Joseph Smith.

Margaret McNeil Ballard autobiography

Scope and Contents Typewritten copy of an autobiography. Ballard writes about her early life in Scotland as a Mormon, her migration to the United States in 1856 and her subsequent migration to Utah in 1859, and her life as a polygamous wife in Logan, Utah. Ballard also tells about encounters with Indians while coming to Utah, and when she was living in Logan.

Clarance Merrill autobiography

Scope and Contents Handwritten autobiography. Merrill lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, as a young boy. He migrated to Utah in 1852 and lived in Provo, Salt Lake City, Bear Lake Valley, Cove Creek, and Fillmore, Utah. He also participated in the "Utah War" of 1857 to 1858.

They are all men in service of the British government (in the United States Charge of Affairs), and correspond under the direction of the Queen of England. John Murdock autobiography and diary

Scope and Contents Typescripts of a diary and an abridgement of diaries for the years from 1830 to 1859 and 1832. Murdock joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1830 and lived in Kirtland, Ohio; Missouri; Nauvoo, Illinois; and Salt Lake City, Utah. He had numerous assignments for the Church and migrated to Utah in 1847. He participated in Zion's Camp in 1834 and went on a mission to Australia from 1852 to 1853.

Johan Christian Poulsen autobiography and diary

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a handwritten autobiography and diary in Danish. The autobiography covers Poulsen's life to 1864 when he began his diary. Poulsen was converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1862. He served as a missionary for that faith in Denmark from 1864 to 1866. He migrated to the Utah and settled in Millard County. Also included are patriarchal blessings of family members in English.

Scope and Contents Typewritten condensation of an autobiography and a diary. The item was shortened by Robinson's granddaughter, Rena Robinson Cutler. Joseph Robinson writes about his conversion to the Mormon Church in 1836, his migration to Utah in 1848, his opinions of the Mormon doctrine of polygamy, and his settling in Weber County, Utah.
