Account is retrospective until 1864, when Bliss writes short daily entries about his journey from Salt Lake City to Nebraska by ox team to help gather the poor to Utah. Scope and Contents Contains a handwritten autobiography and diaries related to Boyle's life and experience as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The autobiography was written beginning in 1844 and, in the same volume, he starts a diary in 1846. Boyle kept 14 additional volumes of diaries, dating from 1855 to 1889. Scope and Contents These materials were photocopied from microfilm copies of handwritten items. Caroline Crosby wrote about her early life in Massachusetts and Canada. She married Jonathan Crosby in 1834. She was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1835. She lived in Kirtland, Ohio, and later moved to Indiana. Eva Charlotta Anderson Bjork diary

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a handwritten diary in six pages. Eva Bjork writes about migrating from Sweden to Utah in 1884. Also included is a biography of Eva's husband, William Bjork. William migrated from Sweden to Utah in 1868. He worked for the railroad and lived in several places in Utah. He finally settled in Provo, Utah. Druce was born in England; was apprenticed as a baker in London in the 1830s; moved to Manchester; joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1842; migrated to the United States in 1846; worked as an engraver in New York State; migrated to Utah in 1861; settled in Salt Lake City, Utah; and served on a mission for the Church in the Eastern States in 1876.

William Young Empey diary

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a handwritten diary kept from 1852 to 1854 when Empey was serving in England as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He describes his voyages from Utah to England as well as the return. He also writes about the nature of missionary work, and the problems he faced in England. Empey signed his name "William Y. Empey" on the cover of the diary.
