William Cameron Dunbar letter

Photocopy of a typewritten letter dated September 26, 1854 and addressed to the president and members of the "39th quorum of Seventies" of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The item was written when Dunbar was serving as a missionary in England. Dunbar writes about opening up an area near Taunton, England, for preaching and about various aspects of missionary work.

Moses Franklin Farnsworth missionary diary and patriarchal blessings

Handwritten diaries, patriarchal blessings, and miscellaneous items. Farnsworth gives a brief autobiography before he started his first diary in 1862. His diaries cover from 1862 to 1864 and from 1868 to 1870 when he was on a mission for the Mormon Church in England. Also included are patriarchal blessings for members of the Farnsworth family.

George Lionel Farrell diary

Scope and Contents Handwritten diaries, an autobiography, and correspondence. Jones wrote his autobiography in 1881. Jones served in the Utah Militia during the Black Hawk War and had numerous occupations and positions in the Mormon Church. His diaries start in 1884 when he was called to serve on a mission for the Mormon Church in England. Many entries are lengthy and detailed. Abraham Alonzo Kimball diaries

Scope and Contents

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of three handwritten diaries. Kimball kept these diaries from July 1878 to April 1881. Kimball served on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 1878 to 1879 and writes about his activities at that time. After he returned to Utah, Kimball was called to be the bishop of the Kanosh, Utah, ward of the Mormon Church. He writes about his work as a bishop and about his political activities at that time.

Aaron Nelson diary

Handwritten diary with photocopies of the item. Nelson had converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1849. His diary covers the years 1858 to 1862 when he served as an LDS missionary in England. Also included are some notes by Nelson's son, William Nelson, who had migrated to St. George, Utah.
