John Hortt Adams personal history
Andrew Jackson Allen autobiography and diary
William Coleman Allen biography
Photocopy of short typewritten biography. Crossed the plains to Utah with the pioneers as a child in 1847, settled with family in Mill Creek Canyon and, in 1851, in Draper. In 1876, called by Brigham Young to head the colonization of the Little Colorado River settlements in Arizona. Moved back to Draper in 1884.
O. J. Anderson and family
Photocopy of a typewritten biography of Olaf J. Anderson, including information about his two wives Kathinka and Nathalia and several of their children. She presents the history of the family's "Anderson Hotel" in Castle Dale, Utah and Olaf's and Kathinka's mission for the Mormon Church in Copenhagen, Denmark where he edited the Mormon newspaper, "Scandinavian Star," 1908-1912.
Autobiographies of Alma W. King and Lucille Olson King
James I. Steel autobiography and family records
Photocopy of a handwritten autobiography with family records apparently also copied by Steel. James Steel converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England and migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1854. He later settled in Tooele County, Utah. Steel entered into polygamy in 1874. Also included are ordinations and patriarchal blessings of family members. Steel also writes about his visions and dreams.
David Hyrum Jenkins papers
Photocopy of a handwritten autobiography, family history, and patriarchal blessings. Jenkins writes about the members of his family and ancestors, and his life in Farmington. Also included are letters from friends and family members.
Marian Adaline Belnap papers
Phtocopy of correspondence, financial and legal documents, genealogial materials, newspaper clippings, and drafts of research papers. The materials relate to a wide variety of topics but mostly deal with Belnap (Belknap) family matters. A patriarchal blessing is found with the collection.
LeGrand Meyer Bernards personal history
Shares memories of his childhood in Salt Lake City, Utah; Latter-day Saint mission in Hawaii, 1941-1944; marriage; service in the U.S. Navy during World War II; and work at Brigham Young University Print Services, 1968-1983. The history was recorded by the author's daughter, Lani Bernards Braithwaite.
Henry M. Bird diary
Handwritten diary. Bird talks about his activities and about the places he visited while on his mission. Also included are biographies of Henry Bird's father, Edmund Bird, and notes relating to Bird family genealogy.
