An alphabetical title index to the Capitol Records Company archives of music manuscripts

Scope and Contents Forms and a typewritten draft of a published manuscript. The index was produced by the Division of Archives and Manuscripts at the Harold B. Lee Library of Brigham Young University starting in 1970 and was bound as a five-volume reference work in 1978.

Orson Scott Card papers

Also included are works of other authors that Card has commented on, correspondence, and personal papers. Also included are scripts and other materials pertaining to the production of the 1989 motion picture The abyss (directed by James Cameron), which Card used to write the novel of the same name.

Scope and Contents Typewritten and signed book draft. This item was a working copy used by the author. The manuscript was published by Deseret Book in 1930. Widtsoe attempts to reconcile scientific methodologies and various scientific findings with Mormon theology.

Indian campaigns, sketches of cavalry service in Arizona and on the northern plains

Scope and Contents Typescript, with hand-written corrections, of a book published by the Old Army Press in 1984. Most of these items were first published as newspaper articles in the Milwaukee "Sentinel" mostly in the 1880s. They were edited by Harry H. Anderson. The work is a first-person account of King's activities and experiences in fighting Indians in the United States.

Helen Hunt Jackson papers

Scope and Contents Handwritten and signed letters, poem, and manuscripts. The letters deal with personal and business matters. The manuscripts are leather bound holographs of Jackson's works "Christmas in the Pink Boarding House," "Passion Play at Oberammergau," "The People's Choice," and "Parson Williams Sabbath Breaking." Also included are a signed poem titled "Lifted Over," and a book by Jackson titled "Colorado." Also includes an image of Helen Hunt Jackson.

Scope and Contents Materials include Miscellanies in Prose and Verse, a manuscript written by Abraham Orchard in 1780 in Bath, England. In the preface Orchard reflects on his experiences with sin, repentence, religion, and God. The rest of the manuscript contains poetry, prose, songs, and prayers about marriage, daily life, children, nature, and religion. Only part of the book is filled up and there is a note written by someone else stating when Orchard died. There is no cover on the book, the binding is falling...

The Utah horseman : a history
