William Davis letter
Handwritten and signed letter dated 11 April 1820 and addressed to Ziba Ware of Wells, Vermont. Davis probably moved to New York from Wells. Davis urges Ware to come for a visit. He also writes of "vary harde times for money this two years past thare is nown to be hade hear."
Walter De la Mare letter
Typewritten letter signed by De la Mare and addressed to "Mr. Kowan" thanking him for his letter. Kowan apparently wanted encouragement from De la Mare on an unnamed project. De la Mare said there was already much done on the topic.

Scrapbooks, 298 items of correspondence, musical compositions, certificates, programs, autobiographies, and miscellaneous materials. The collection relate to Dean's teaching career and his interest in music including his translation of the Mormon hymnal into Samoan.
Marion Gertrude Deavenport letters

Deavenport discusses her book, "A Colonial History and Genealogy of Bickleys, Gardners, Polegreens, Millers, Dottins, Husbands: Ancestors of Mrs. Elizabeth Smith Deavenport" and other family history matters.
