The text is written in a large cursive roughly 29 lines to a page. It is an anonymous and probably an unknown biography of Francesco Ferrucci, the Florentine merchant, farmer, and condottiere, who was killed in 1530 in the defense of Florence against the returning Medici. Handwritten biography of Thomas Stapleton in Latin believed to have been written by Henry Holland for the prefix to the compilation of Stapleton's works entitled: "Opera Omnia." The work was published in 1620. Stapleton was an important Catholic writer and scholar in England.

Wesley P. Walters affidavits
