Anthony Armstrong papers

Anthony Armstrong flourished from 1924 to 1976 and was known for writing in several literary genres, including historical, humorous, crime, and country novels; humorous short stories; drama; nonfiction works; and film and radio scripts.
Barton Orville Aylesworth correspondence
Collection consists of letters to and from Aylesworth. They request biographical information from important literary and political figures in America roughly at the turn of the century. Also included are the replies to these petitions. The responses often contain some biographical information and lists of works published by the authors. It is likely that Aylewsorth's request were attempts to collect autographs of prominent individuals.

Ellis Taylor Peirce correspondence
Letters, mostly typed, to and from Ellis Peirce. The missives largely are to and from family members and friends and are concerned with family and friendship matters. They also mention the publication of books by Ellis' associates, and refer to relations with Indians. Also includes some photographs. Dated 1921-1925.
Wendell Phillips letter
Handwritten and signed letter dated 4 Dec. 1883 and addressed to a person named McDay. Phillips writes that McDay should not be too critical of his teacher and also comments on English literature.
Edmund John Robins collection
The Edmund John Robins collection contains many poems and short stories of "Ted" Robins. Also included is a scrapbook, publications with his work included, correspondence, and copies of historically significant paintings.
