Jesse Perse Harmon papers

The folder contains two items: a photocopy and microform of a handwritten letter dated 19 October 1868 and addressed to an Orson White. Musser describes the death and the funeral of White's brother.

Patriarchal blessings by Isaac Morley
Handwritten patriarchal blessings both given on 8 Jan. 1849 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were given to Willard G. and Martha Richards McMullin. Morley promises the McMullins that they can receive glory after their deaths by their faithfulness to the Mormon Church while they are alive.
George Pauncefate letters
Handwritten and signed letters dated 20 Feb. and 12 June 1896 and addressed to a David Mackenzie. Pauncefate writes about the Mormons and the theater in Salt Lake City, Utah.
William Bowker Preston receipts
Handwritten and printed receipts. The items record the transactions and purchases made by Preston at the Bishop's General Storehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah. Also included is a letter to Preston that was written in Bedford, Wyoming. The item is unsigned, but its salutation was "Dear Uncle."
William Bowker Preston letter and receipts
Handwritten and typewritten letter and receipts. Preston writes to John M. Cannon, administrator of the estate of A. H. Cannon. Preston states that the account of A. H. Cannon still owes $841.98 to the Bishops' General Storehouse.
John Prichard letter
Handwritten and signed letter, dated 5 June 1849, and addressed to George Prichard of Garrettsville, Ohio. George is John's brother. John writes about family matters and reports on the condition of Mormons in Salt Lake City, Utah. John Prichard's familiarity with the Mormons may mean he was a member of that faith.
