Also included are typed drafts of articles written for the China Post newspaper composed while Clayton was a visiting professor of journalism for the Cheng Chi University in Hong Kong. The essays deal with the changes and modernization of China in the 20th century.

Lowell Thomas letters

Scope and Contents Typewritten copies of letters, essays, and news reports broadcast on radio. Thomas comments on United States' and world affairs and describes the numerous areas he visited. These materials were assembled by Hack Miller for the "Deseret News" newspaper in Salt Lake City, Utah.
