Will W. Bowman papers
The Bowman papers include correspondence, inter-office memos, certificates, newspaper clippings, albums and scrapbooks, journalism class assignments, class lecture notes, editorial budgets, genealogy, photographs, publications, and memorabilia.
Broadcast Services records
Contains correspondence for KBYU, agendas and schedules for radio and television broadcasts, and minutes of meetings.
David C. Collier autobiography and letters
Typewritten autobiograpy and typewritten letters sent by Collier. The autobiography includes information on the early history of Colorado, its mining industry, and an account of Collier's activities as a public official and as a newspaper editor. Also included are a series of Collier's letters for publication in the Central City Miner's register written from 1863 to 1873.
L. H. Curtis papers
Programming guides, correspondence, newspaper articles, speeches, notes, questionnaires, newsletters, editorials, a video tape, and an audio tape. The materials relate to Curtis' speeches and to his editorials on KSL radio and television.
Department of Communications records
Contains correspondence to and from the chair of the Department of Communications for the period of 1988 to 2001, and portfolios done by students in the department in 2011.
Arthur Gaeth papers
Papers related to Arthur Gaeth's career as a journalist during WWII, including materials related to Germany, 1923-1983.
Richard Halliburton letter
Handwritten letter sent to the newspaper offices that printed a column known as "The Office Window." The letter is dated March 22, 1928 and was written in Indianapolis, Indiana. Also included is a photocopy of the newspaper article dated Feb. 25, 1928. The news piece was somewhat critical of Halliburton and his adventures. Halliburton wrote to thank the editors for the publicity and to correct the things said about him.
Joe Hyams papers
The collection consists of scrapbooks Hyams kept of the columns he wrote as a Hollywood journalist while working for the New York Herald Tribune (1951-73), as well as of manuscript materials for books, screenplays, etc. It also includes photos, art books, and numerous tape reels of interviews with Hollywood notables.
Howard Rusk Long correspondence
Correspondence. Most of the items date from the 1930s to the 1980s, but some newspaper clippings date from 1844. The materials document Long's journalsitic and teaching careers. He taught for two years at Southern Illinois University. Long organized the International Conferenece of Weekly Newspaper editors. The official publication of the organization was the "Grassroots Editor."
