Biographical sketch of Alice T. Steele

Scope and Contents

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Alice Chadwick was born in England in 1844, and she joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1854. She migrated to Utah in 1869 by railroad and settled in American Fork. She married George Taylor in 1870 and was "set apart" as a midwife in 1883. After the death of George, Alice married Thomas G. Steele. She died in 1917.

She came to American in 1861 and settled in American Fork, Utah. She married William Houghton Greenwood in 1870 and had ten children.

Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. Hannah Meredith was born in 1855 in Wales. Her family had been converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and they migrated to Utah in 1863. The family first lived in Salt Lake City and later in Vernon in Tooele County. She married Joseph White in 1875, and she and her husband moved to American Fork in 1906. She died in 1939.

They came to Utah in 1851 and settled in American Fork. She married William Walker Robinson and died in 1876.

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. The author of the item is unknown. John Hindley was born in England in 1820 and was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1848. He came to the United States in 1849 and settled in American Fork, Utah. He was a businessman who had three wives. He died in 1886.

He came to the United states when he was six weeks old, and he came to Salt Lake City, Utah, with other members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when he was 15 years old. He settled in American Fork, Utah, and died in 1938.

He migrated to Utah in 1848 and later settled in American Fork. He was a farmer and a rancher, had a large family, and died in 1906.
