Scope and Contents Handwritten diaries, an autobiography, and correspondence. Jones wrote his autobiography in 1881. Jones served in the Utah Militia during the Black Hawk War and had numerous occupations and positions in the Mormon Church. His diaries start in 1884 when he was called to serve on a mission for the Mormon Church in England. Many entries are lengthy and detailed. Scope and Contents

Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of handwritten diaries and temple records. Roskelley was born in Davonport, England, in 1837 and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1851. He migrated to Utah in 1853 and served on a mission for his faith in England from 1856 to 1858. He served on other missions for the church to England, and he lived in Cache Valley, Utah. Also included are temple records for work done in the Logan Temple in Logan, Utah.
