Scope and Contents Materials include 73 photographs of Latter-day Saint missionaries between 1950 and 1952 and a newspaper clipping on Latter-day Saint missionaries. The missionaries have written notes to Lee T. Cox on the back of their photographs. 72 of the photographs are from the Canadian Mission. There is also a photocopy of a newspaper clipping of a Canadian Latter-day Saint basketball team.

Scope and Contents Collection contains a digital copy on a compact disk of a scrapbook and family history related to Harvey Coe Hullinger. The scrapbook dates from 1860 to 1925, and includes mostly typed letters, poetry, prayers, visions, notes on gospel topics, and other items written by or to Hullinger from 1900-1925. Sutcliffe Maudsley portraits

Scope and Contents Pen-and-ink portraits of the first president of the Mormon Church, Joseph Smith (1805-1844), and his brother, Hyrum Smith (1800-1844). The items have been framed for possible display. The portraits may have been cut from something larger. The items were signed at the bottom of each picture and were dated 1844. Collection also includes digital scans of the items on compact disc.

William E. McLellin journal

Scope and Contents Collection contains digital copies and transcriptions of William E. McLellin's original journal of 1871-1872, written after McLellin broke with all organized religion in 1869. It contains about 200 pages of his commentary on scripture and religious doctrines (a mixture of Mormon doctrinal theology, personal opinion, and traditional Christian theology). The style of this journal and the occasional address McLellin uses suggest he may have been writing this journal for publication.

Photograph of Salt Lake Temple

Scope and Contents The item is a photograph of the Salt Lake Temple. The photograph was taken between the laying of the capstone in April 1892 and the dedication in April 1893. A part of the Salt Lake Tabernacle is barely visible on the left side of the photograph. Trees surround the Temple, but the gardens have not yet been planted. Two ladders and a man can be seen on the west spires.
