Scope and Contents Photocopy of a handwritten autobiography and an account of Joseph Young's death and funeral by his son, Seymour B. Young. Joseph writes about his conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and comments on various doctrines of that faith.

James I. Steel autobiography and family records

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a handwritten autobiography with family records apparently also copied by Steel. James Steel converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England and migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1854. He later settled in Tooele County, Utah. Steel entered into polygamy in 1874. Also included are ordinations and patriarchal blessings of family members. Steel also writes about his visions and dreams.
