Amelia M. Beecher papers

The contents of this collection appear to be oriented primarily around the life of Amelia Madsen Beecher, however there are several references to her mother, Abigal Rees Madsen, her father, Roland Adolph Madsen, and her husband, Asa L. Beecher.

Oral history interviews with Annette Kaufman
Collection includes three audio cassette recordings of interviews with the pianist Annette Kaufman regarding Max Steiner, an Austrian American composer; Maurice Abravanel, a Swiss-American Jewish conductor of classical music; and Louis Kaufman, an American violinist who was also her late husband.
Kempe family diaries
Contains diaries belonging to the Kempe and DeWitt families. Includes a diary of Christopher Jensen Kempe about his missions, time in the Detroit penitentiary, and marriages. Also contains diaries of Abel Alexander DeWitt, Jr. about his mission from 1901-1903. Finally, contains an autograph book and diary of Ruth Leila Kempe DeWitt as well as a short biographical history of her descendendants and ancestors. Dated approximately 1860-1996.
Marshall family family history
Typescripts of personal histories of members of the Marshall family, which include information about their emigration from England to Utah in 1856 and their pioneer journey on the first hand cart company, and poems and songs.
Edith Jones Olson oral history
Autobiography; transcripts of interviews by her grandson, Jeffrey K. Olson; and the original cassette tapes of the interviews. Edith was born at Castle Gate, Utah and lived most of her life in Price, Utah. She played the piano and organ at numerous church services for all denominations and at the movies before the advent of sound. She taught music during WW II, was appointed director of the Carbon County Centennial Arts Committee, and was chosen the First Lady of the Year in Price.
