Scope and Contents

Collection spans the years 1953-2002, and contains the correspondence of Stanley Chaloupka, programs from his performances including the performances with his wife, LP and 78 audio recordings of his music and other famous harpists, one VHS tape entitled "A conversation aith the Cousteaus," and pictures with glass frames.

Collection includes materials that resulted from Eleanor Fell's career as a profesisonal harpist. Materials are in the form of handwritten manuscripts, photocopied manuscripts, sheet music, photocopied sheet music, published works, a tape and CD's. There are correspondence between Eleanor and other harpists regarding Vanderbilt Music Company - her music publishing company. Also, there are a few pieces of music from members of Eleanor's family. Dates range from 1936-2011.

contain vocal scores for women's voices, vocal scores for mixed choirs, course booklets pertaining to harp instruction, research notes on the history and structure of harp, American Harp Society (AHS) conference booklets, programs and brochures of Follet and other prominent harpists, correspondence, two indexes and two appendixes to the AHS sound recording repository. Collection spans the dates 1927-1985, with publication dates ranging 1889-1959.

Collection contains materials collected by Catherine Gotthoffer ranging from approximately 1964 to 1995. Materials include promotional photographs of Catherine as well as other prominent harpists, documents related to Marcel Grandjany, video recordings of the Grandjany video project, newsletters from Lyon and Healy in addition to the American Harp Society (AHS), and various handbooks and policy documents from AHS.

This collection includes a photograph of the attendees, and Christa's presentation notes from the 1995 American Harp Society Midcentral Regional Mini-Conference in Monticello, Illinois. Her presentation was called Fine-Tuning Your Harp Career. This collection is currently incomplete. Christa intends on adding more installments to her papers regarding her career as a harpist. Dated 1995.

The collection contains letters, newspaper clippings, photographs, books, articles, concert programs, correspondence, and World Harp Congress harp publications collected by Sylvia Meyer throughout her career as a harpist. Approximate dates range from 1930 to 2001. The items are associated with the American Harp Society. It also contains directories, notes, and certificates regarding members of the American Harp Society.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of Verlye Mills' reel-to-reel audio recordings. The recordings are a combination of protection tapes, origional studio recordings, rough mixes, and unlabled reels. The studio recordings are in a series of 4, with the following titles: Pineapple Rag, Gershwin, My Reverie, Kern Medley, Verlye's Tune, Dr. Zhivago, Chinese Rock, Bluesette, One Note Samba, Lost Love and I saw the Wild Geese Fly.
