Photocopies of correspondence, a diary, newspaper clippings, certificates, and miscellaneous items. The diary was kept between December 1941 and March 1942 and relates Brunson's feelings and observations at the beginning of the United States' involvement in World War II. The correspondence includes items by Peter's father, Lewis Brunson (1831-1888), and by Mormon Church leaders. The clippings relate to the activities of Brunson family members.

Partridge writes about his mission to Hawaii from 1854 to 1858 and from 1882 to 1885 for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the latter when he served as mission president. He writes about incidents during the Utah War (1857-1858), and settling in Farmington and in Fillmore, Utah, where he served as bishop. Patridge also writes about his work as a probate judge in Millard County, as a member of the Utah Territorial Legislature in the 1870s,...
