Carrington family letters
Collection on New Mexican territorial history
Photocopies of handwritten and printed receipts, wills, correspondence, royal decrees, proclamations, pronouncements, grants, certificates, reports, licenses, orders, inventories, petitions, claims, and requests. The items were created mainly by New Mexican government officials and persons connected with local and territorial governments of that area.
Robert Spurrier Ellison papers
Microfilmed copies of handwritten and typescripts of interview notes, correspondence, general notes, and lists. The materials relate primarily to the Indian wars of North America from 1866 to 1895. The original materials reside in the Ellison--Camp collection at the Denver Public Library. The items were initialy created and collected by Walter Mason Camp with some materials generated by Robert Ellison. Also included are typescripts of some of the items.
Finis Ewing collection
Correspondence, certificates, and legal papers dealing with Ewing's personal and business life in Missouri. Some of the correspondence is from Thomas Hart Benton, Henry Clay, and Lilburn W. Boggs. The items relate to contemporary political issues both in Missouri and in the United States.
W. Medieo letters
Handwritten copybook letters apparently signed by W. Medieo and addressed to Brigham Young and William H. Hooper. The letter addressed to Brigham Young informs him that his account has been adjusted for the fiscal year 1856-57 with the Treasury. The item addressed to Hooper relates to his application to be the acting "Secretary Pro tem" of Utah.

Warren Stone Snow papers
Typewritten biographical sketches (photocopies) of Snow and his wife, Mary Ann V. Snow; ALS's (with typed transcripts) to his fourth polygamous wife, Sarah E.W. Snow, with a few to their children; a certificate of election, a deed, and a family group sheet (photocopies). Letters contain information pertaining to relations with his plural family, his missionary experiences in England, and the building of the Manti, Utah Temple. Includes cover letter by donor.
Philip T. Van Zile letters received
Handwritten and signed letters, dated 28 Dec. 1880 and 11 March 1882, sent by W. E. Curtis and Eli H. Murray respectively. Curtis asks Van Zile to send him news reports. Murray, governor of Utah Territory, asks Van Zile for advice concerning the Utah legislative session, 1881-1882.
