William Abraham Bell letter

Scope and Contents Handwritten and signed letter addressed to Mr. Walker and dated August 10, 1900. It concerns the expected arrival of Bell's family in New York enroute to England. It also states that Bell accepts Walker's offer to leave Bell's son Archie in Walker's care during the abscence of their family. Bell also writes about the market for "mobiles."

Scope and Contents Typewritten copies of letters written between 1864 and 1868. The volume is entitled: "Letters Sent During Mountain & Colorado Trips." Also included is a typewritten autobiography entitled: "The Man of the Mountains: The Life of David C. Collier." The author is listed as "An Old-Timer" who is believed to be Collier himself.
