Leonard J. Arrington letters

Scope and Contents This collection contains 28 folders, housed in 2 hollinger boxes. The collection is approximately 1500 pages long. This collection is a compilation of letters that Arrington wrote to his children once they were all out of the house. His secretary, Chris Croft, typed and xeroxed a large portion of the letters. Bidwell, dated May 1, 1816, relating to Barnabas Bidwell, who is an uncle of Edward Partridge, first bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Letter is written by a cousin of Edward Partridge (Edwin Brewer) to another cousin of Edward's (Adonijah S. Bidwell).

H. H. Cluff diary

Scope and Contents Handwritten diary (144 pages) by Harvey H. Cluff. Cluff records events relating to his church activities. He talks about church talks, church courts, and reactions to the activities of federal officials who were pursuing Church members because of the practice of polygamy. Cluff presents copies of letters written by leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and gives an account of his arrest for polygamy on April 30, 1887.

Reuben Emerson Curtis letter file and scrapbook
