Scope and Contents

Handwritten diary and scrapbook. The journal was kept from 1 Jan. to 31 Dec. 1883 when Greenwood was serving as a missionary in New Zealand. He reports on his daily activities in entries that are often lengthy and detailed. The scrapbook was created by Alma's wife, Florence Greenwood. It contains newspaper clippings from the 1880s that relate to Mormons, Utah, and to national happenings.

Scope and Contents Collection includes papers, letters, autobiographies, photographs, memorabilia, and histories, mostly photocopied. Most of the documents relate to personal and family matters. Also contains the journals and documents of the Harvard and Rose Hinton family. The collection contains (1) the journals of LaFayette C. Lee and Pearl M. Lee during and after their mission to Japan; (2) photocopies of several nineteenth-century items, including photographs and a Nauvoo receipt; and (3) photocopies of a photo album from mission to Japan, 1915-1919.

Diaries, a scrapbook, newspaper clippings, essays, poems, correspondence, a biography, a published book with handwritten corrections, and a film strip. The materials deal with Robinson's dancing, music, and educational careers. The diaries are in six volumes and relate to Robinson's mission for the Mormon Church in Colorado.

The diary was kept from 1953 to 1957 while Smoot was serving as president of the Northern States Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The other materials relate to the function of the postal service in Utah and to LDS Church matters.

Williamson papers are divided into nine archival series: Diaries and Scrapbooks; Personal Records; Church; Personal Correspondence; Education; Employment; Audiotapes; Calendars and Day Books; Photographs. The nine series contain information about many aspects of Ms. Williamson's life. Types of material include: diaries and scrapbooks, personal correspondence, and photographs.

Correspondence, journals, scrapbooks, lecture materials, published and unpublished manuscripts, memorabilia, and miscellany. The materials cover a large number of topics because of Young's involvement in religion, education, government (historical societies), and professional organizations. The diaries were kept while Young was serving as a missionary for the Mormon Church in Switzerland.
