Lee T. Cox collection of photographs from the Canadian Mission

Scope and Contents Materials include 73 photographs of Latter-day Saint missionaries between 1950 and 1952 and a newspaper clipping on Latter-day Saint missionaries. The missionaries have written notes to Lee T. Cox on the back of their photographs. 72 of the photographs are from the Canadian Mission. There is also a photocopy of a newspaper clipping of a Canadian Latter-day Saint basketball team.

Alma Greenwood diary and scrapbook

Scope and Contents Handwritten diary and scrapbook. The journal was kept from 1 Jan. to 31 Dec. 1883 when Greenwood was serving as a missionary in New Zealand. He reports on his daily activities in entries that are often lengthy and detailed. The scrapbook was created by Alma's wife, Florence Greenwood. It contains newspaper clippings from the 1880s that relate to Mormons, Utah, and to national happenings.

Johnson while he was serving an Eastern States Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1908-1910. Scope and Contents Collection consists of postcards to and from Thomas R. Jones between 1905 and 1912. The majority of the correspondence documents his service as a Mormon missionary. The collection also includes blank postcards with images of European countries and photographic postcards.

Heber Kimball Maxham papers

Scope and Contents The Heber Kimball Maxham papers includes four photos of Heber Kimball Maxham and his family, typewritten records of the history of the Maxham family (along with genealogy records), and two volumes of Maxham's missionary experiences from 1908 to 1910. He includes stories about church meetings, blessings, illnesses, hardships, and conversions that he experienced while in the mission field in Alabama.

Sidney J. Ottley papers

Scope and Contents Correspondence, diaries, financial ledgers, newsletters, an autobiography, greeting cards, and a scrapbook. The diaries relate to Ottley's missions for the Church in New Zealand and Great Britain and to his service as mission president also in New Zealand starting in 1951. The correspondence is between family members. The photographs in the scrapbook were taken during his mission presidency in the 1950s.
