John Adams letter
Photocopy of a handwritten and signed letter. Adams states that a Mr. Young "from Mendon" has been hired to do some work for him. It is unclear if the John Adams in the letter is the same John Adams (1786-1856) who wrote a legal history of New York State. The "Mr. Young" may have been Brigham Young (1801-1877), second president of the Mormon Church. The date of the item is also uncertain.
Thomas Adams papers
Holographs and printed material. Contains a journal of Adams' mission to Great Britain, 1895-1897, including newspaper clippings about Mormonism in Ireland, and records of his correspondence and missionary work. Also included are a letter changing his mission call to Great Britain, 1895, genealogical data, and family histories of his father's family, William Adams.
George Alley papers
Mary Andrus papers
Collection contains an autobiography, certificates, family history, legal documents, letters, photographs, talks and tributes. Also includes material relating to the Latter-day Saint Church Spanish Fork, Utah 1st Ward Young Ladies Mutual Improvement Association, 5th Ward Relief Society, Spanish Fork Public Library, the Icelandic Association, and Alma Archibald Andrus' journal (1909-1968).
Carlos Ashby Badger papers
Photocopies of diaries, correspondence, and scrapbooks. The correspondence is largely between Carlos Badger and his wife Rose Jenkins Badger. Most of the diaries were kept while Badger served as personal secretary to the United States Senator from Utah, Reed Smoot. The materials deal with the congressional hearings dealing with Smoot, mormon polygamy, Mormon temple endowments, and the politics of both Utah and the United States
Ward Baker letters
Two handwritten and signed letters dated 29 April and 19 June 1951, and addressed to "Dear Bishop" and "Dear Mr. Cannon." Baker requests that someone listen to his music and make it available to Mormons.
Delbert Barney correspondence
Photocopies of Delbert Barney's correspondence with government and ecclesiastical officials. He describes an eye-witness account of the "transfiguration" of the Mormon Church President Brigham Young into the likeness of Joseph Smith in 1844 and discusses Blacks and the Mormon priesthood.
Ivan J. Barrett diaries
George Washington Bean diaries
James T. Belliston journal
Photocopy of journals written by James T. Belliston during his missionary service in England between 1875 and 1876. Includes descriptions of his mission call, travels, and spiritual experiences.
