Scope and Contents Photocopies of typescript journal which was transcribed from the holograph original by Albert J. Levine. Flake was born in Beaver, Utah but spent most of his life in Arizona. He attended Brigham Young Academy in Provo, Utah and served as a missionary for the Mormon Church in Mississippi (1883-1885). Printed and handwritten certificate. The item is a license which authorizes Hyrum H. Anderson to teach religion classes for the Mormon Church in Provo, Utah. The item was signed by the president of the Mormon Church, Wilford Woodruff, and by George Reynolds and Karl G. Maeser.

Harold B. Lee Library tour photographs and slides of genealogical library

Contains 62 slides and 75 photographs used for the BYU Genealogical Library tour from the lates 1970s through the late 1990s. Many of the images are of the inside of the library and explain procedures, while others are of people who worked in the library. There are also a few photographs of the BYU campus and the Utah Valley Branch Genealogical Library and three 35 mm black and white negatives of the Harold B. Lee Library.
