Photocopies of handwritten minutes taken at the meetings of the Nauvoo Masonic Lodge in Nauvoo, Illinois, from October 15, 1841 to May 6, 1842. The documents include rolls of those present. The items were signed by Hyrum Smith and by the secretary, John C. Bennett. Contains two copies. Dated 1841-1842.

Charles Ludwig Olsen autobiography

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a handwritten autobiography. Olsen writes about his birth in Norway, his migration to Salt Lake City, Utah, and his life in Santaquin, Utah. He played dance music in many places in Utah and was tried by a Mormon court for inviting people to a public dance. He later settled in Salem, Utah, and continued to play his violin at dances. Sarah Patterson journal

Journal includes an autobiographical account of Patterson's life, as well as daily entries on her activities between 1898 and 1903. Entries are made regularly between 1899 and 1901, with occasional entries after that time. Generally relates to daily activities and her work with the Relief Society. Gladys Clark Rea papers

Typewritten autobiography, photocopies of newspaper articles, and photographs. Rea, a farmer's wife, relates incidents occurring in the Australian "Bush" of rural Queensland where she raised her family. She discusses the impact of World War II in the area and the changes that have occurred since that time. Rea tells of her conversion to the Mormon faith and her activities within that church.

Photocopy of a typewritten biography of Thomas Rhoades and his wife, Elizabeth. Thomas was a Mormon who lived near Nauvoo, Illinois, migrated to California in 1846, participated in the rescue of the Donner-Reed Party, mined for gold in California, came to Utah in 1848, became the first treasurer of Salt Lake City, Utah, found gold in the Uinta Mountains of Utah, and was a polygamist. The material on Elizabeth is very sketchy.
