Brigham Young account book
Handwritten entries in a business account book recording Brigham Young's financial transactions from 1856 to 1874. There are many gaps in the record. These accounts were written by Hiram B. Clawson and others.
Brigham Spencer Young newspaper clippings
Contains two compact discs of scanned newpaper clippings compiled by Brigham Spencer Young from his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England. Dated 1935-1938.
Young Company records
Collection documents the history of the Whittlin' Whistlin' Brigade's and The Young Company's history at Brigham Young University as well as the history of Harold R. Oaks, director of the company. Materials include photographs, calendars, posters, film, audio, and play scripts from 1961 to 2002.
Feramorz L. Young diary
Handwritten and bound diary. Young talks about his journey to Mexico and his cultural and religious experiences there while serving there. Young became ill on his mission and died at sea on his way back to Utah. He was buried at sea off the coast of Florida.
Levi Edgar Young papers
Correspondence, journals, scrapbooks, lecture materials, published and unpublished manuscripts, memorabilia, and miscellany. The materials cover a large number of topics because of Young's involvement in religion, education, government (historical societies), and professional organizations. The diaries were kept while Young was serving as a missionary for the Mormon Church in Switzerland.
Mahonri M. Young papers
Correspondence, sketchbooks, research files, autobiographical files, scrapbooks, and news clippings. Also includes diaries, address and memorandum books, and financial records. Most letters were exchanged with family members and close friends. Primary correspondents included his son, Mahonri Sharp Young; his first wife, Cecilia Sharp Young; and Mary Lightfoot Tarleton, whom he met in Paris after Cecilia died in 1917. Research files include extensive information on other artists.
Naamah Kendall Jenkins Carter Twiss Young papers
Letters, poems, a ledger book, newspaper clippings, programs, a family genealogy, an autograph book, and memorabilia including a lief that rested on the coffin of Brigham Young. The materials relate to Naamah's family and to the genealogy of the Carter family.
Young Women's Mutual Improvement Association records
Ledger books, schedule books, a history, a deed, receipts, reports, and correspondence. The materials relate to the Girl's Canyon home in Provo Canyon, Utah, for the Mutual Improvement Association of the Mormon Church. The items document the financing and the operation of the camp.
Bernard Zaslav papers on the viola
This collection contains Bernard Zaslav's papers on the viola which consist of solo and chamber music scores, his own compositions and arrangements, and correspondence with other musicians. The collection also includes photographs and other promotional material for his performing groups. Dated approximately 1770-2014 with the bulk of the materials being from approximately 1900-2014.
