Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a newspaper article called "Life Sketch of T. A. Waddoups." The item was created at an unknown time. Waddoups was the president of the Hawaiian Colony and manager of the Isepa Agricultural and Stocky Company from 1901 to 1917. In 1868 Hawaiian converts began coming to Utah to perform their Mormon temple ordinances. Account books, correspondence, newspaper clippings, a reminiscence of Walker's participation in the Walker War against the Ute Indians in 1853, certificates, legislative acts passed by the Utah Legislature, and minutes of meetings. The materials deal largely with the Walker banking, mining, and business interests in Utah. The correspondence are to and from family members and deal largely with family and business matters.
