Scope and Contents Photocopies of typewritten biographies of Henry Bailey Jacobs and Zina Diantha Huntington Young, along with photocopies of typed and handwritten letters. The items, which relate to family matters and marriage relationships, include a letter from the LDS Historical Department regarding the marriages of Zina to Joseph Smith and Brigham Young, and a letter from the U.S. Customs Court in New York denying the existence of any records relating to a divorce between Henry and Zina.

Scope and Contents Handwritten poems, minutes of a meeting of the Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a biography of Zina D. H. Young, a wife of the second president of the Church, Brigham Young. The poems were written at the death of Brigham Young in 1877. The Relief Society minutes relate to a meeting held in the 64th District school house on 7 Nov. 1893 in an unknown location.

Scope and Contents Handwritten and signed letter addressed to Young's step-son, Willard, at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York. The item relates news about family and friends in Salt Lake City, including his father, Brigham Young (1801-1877). Also included are exhortations to pray and rely on God. A typed transcript of the item is included.
