Biography of William Rufus Rogers Stowell
Includes typewritten and handwritten biographies of William Rufus Rogers Stowell. Also included are typed excerpts from the biography and photocopies of an account of Stowell's death handwritten by his grandson, Earl Stowell. William Stowell was a convert to the Mormon Church. He lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, migrated to Utah in 1852, served in the Utah Militia during the Utah Expedition, served on missions for the Mormon Church, and went to Mexico to avoid prosecution for polygamy.

Cyrena Dustin Merrill autobiography
Autobiography by Cyrena Dustin Merrille, including her experience joining the Mormon Church in 1837, time spent in Far West, Missouri, Nauvoo, Illinois, Winter Quarters, Nebraska, and her migration to Salt Lake City, Utah. She describes the impact of a measles outbreak among Ute Indians in Salt Lake City in 1851, and an 1876 move to Arizona with her family. Also included is a genealogy of the Merrill family. Dated 1898 to 1907.
Tamma Durfee Miner autobiography
This collection consists of photocopies of a typewritten document. Miner was baptized into the Mormon Church in 1831. She lived in Kirtland, Ohio; Far West, Missouri; Nauvoo, Illinois; and Springville, Utah. She had three husbands and fourteen children. Her autobiography tells of her personal hardships in following her chosen faith.
George Pectol autobiography
A short sketch of the life of Levi Jackman
Typescript copy of a life sketch originally written by Jackman in 1851 which describes his early family life in Vermont and New York. The sketch also includes journal excerpts from 1835-1847 which detail his Latter-day Saint Church missions to Ohio, the 1847 trek across the Plains and early Utah life. Also includes a typescript of notes from a sketch by S.C. Richardson about Jackman.
