Louisa May Alcott papers
Battle hymn of the republic
Printed item commemorating the founding of the New England Women's Club. The item was hand addressed to Mrs. Mary J. Judah and signed by the president of the club, Julia Ward Howe, in November 1892. The item includes all five verses of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" and an account by Mrs. Howe of how she came to write the poem.
Beloved sister
Handwritten poem dealing with the author's sister. Smith praises her virtues in a religious setting. The item is signed "A. B. Smith" which is believed to have been Adam Browning Smith.

Contains materials from Exponent II, including minutes, photographs, scrapbooks, and articles. Materials were produced during the meetings, retreats and parties, and publications of the members of Exponent II in the greater Boston and New England area. Dated 1974 to 2001.
Maurice Hewlett correspondence
Handwritten, typewritten, and signed correspondence between Hewlett and C. F. Cazenove of the Literary Agency of London. Two of the items from Hewlett are addressed to "My Dear." Also included is a handwritten and signed poem by Hewlett titled, "The Wren."
