Collection includes the typescript of an autobiography of Alonzo (6 p.). Also, typescript of a letter written by Alonzo on 29 October 1843 from Nauvoo, Illinois, to his father-in-law, John Taber (or Tabor), in Alfred, Maine. The two-page letter details the recent death of Alonzo's wife and Taber/Tabor's daughter, Mary Ann Taber/Tabor (b. 16 April 1822 in North Brewer, York, Maine).
