Howard C. Gardiner papers
Correspondence, newspaper clippings, handwritten book drafts, ledgers, an article, and sermons by John David Gardiner, Howard's father. The drafts relate to Howard Gardiner's book "The Story of a California Pioneer," later published as "In Pursuit of the Golden Dream."
Richard Halliburton letter
Handwritten letter sent to the newspaper offices that printed a column known as "The Office Window." The letter is dated March 22, 1928 and was written in Indianapolis, Indiana. Also included is a photocopy of the newspaper article dated Feb. 25, 1928. The news piece was somewhat critical of Halliburton and his adventures. Halliburton wrote to thank the editors for the publicity and to correct the things said about him.
Dean Hughes papers
Contains correspondence, magazine articles, newspaper clippings, photographs, programs, and book drafts. The materials relate to Hughes' writing and publishing career. The correspondence is between Hughes and his publishers. Material dates from 1937-2014, bulk 1961-2014.
Andrew Jenson papers
Correspondence; autobiography of Jenson's life from the time he lived in Denmark to his residence in Utah; drafts of writings for the newspaper column, "Jenson Travels," appearing in the Deseret News newspaper; travel notes; photographs; and memorabilia. Jenson's writings largely pertain to Mormon and Utah history. Dated 1850 to 1935.
Thomas McGuane papers
Contains two postcards, cards, and letters to Thomas McGuane congratulating him on the success of his work; a five-page introduction of Thomas McGuane written by Geoffrey Wolff; a copy of a check for $300 for the publishing of an excerpt from "Panama;" and many thank you letters for articles McGuane wrote in "Sports Illustrated."

Jean Woodman papers
Scrapbook, interview tape and transcript, newspaper clippings, articles, a publisher's contract, and literary and family memorabilia. Eight of the eleven folders relate to Woodman's novel, "Glory Spent," including information on the writing process, relationships with the publisher, and the review process. Also included is Woodman's biography of her husband, Herbert B. Woodman.

Contains manuscripts, typescripts, correspondence (business and personal), scrapbooks, published and unpublished music, personal writings and literary works (poems, short stories, etc.) created and collected during Woolsey's career as a writer of adult and children's literature and as a composer of popular music.
