Asian photographs
About 600 photographs of people and places in Asia, taken between 1870 and 1949. This is an extensive collection focusing on cities and towns in Asia, various ethnic groups, and daily practices. Most of the photographs of China appear to have been taken just before Communism.
R. Lanier Britsch papers
Includes resumes, letters of recommendation, and correspondence while at the university as well as grades, old class rolls, reading lists, and other class material. Education Week and Kennedy Center records are included. Also includes Britsch's dissertation, drafts of other writings, and faculty addresses.

Contains illustrated diaries by Richard L. Gunn documenting his work with BYU Travel Study. Includes detailed descriptions of individual tours with embedded photographs to areas including Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America. Dated 1986-2004.
Franklin Stewart Harris photographs
Contains photographs and lantern slides taken by Harris while on multiple trips around the world and in the western United States between 1910 and 1954.
Paul Hyer papers on Mongolia
Contains manuscripts used in preparation of "Mongolia's Culture and Society" (1979) and "A Mongolian Living Buddha" (1983). Also includes miscellaneous writings by Paul Hyer on Mongolia-China relationships.
International Programs records
Contains programs, surveys, and research conducted by the Brigham Young University Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies including study abroad trips to Asia, Europe, and Mexico, the internships in New York, Europe, and Asia, and several tours. There is a photograph album of directors and participants with most of the study abroad programs. Dates range from 1970 to 1996.
