May Swenson poetry
Folder one includes several drafts of Swenson's poem, "My Name Was Called," with a cover letter to Dennis Rowley dated November 6, 1989, giving background information. Folder two contains drafts of four poems which appear in her book, Half sun, half sleep: new poems (New York:Charles Scribner's Sons, 1967), bearing her corrections. The four poems are entitled: "Naked in Borneo," "News from the Cabin," "A Yellow Circle," and "Dear Elizabeth."
Nancy Daley Thompson poem
Typed and signed poem entitled "Cannon Fodder." The poem describes a parents concern for a son during war time and has a strong antimilitaristic flavor. The item is not dated, however the references to planes, chemicals, and deadly gas probably place it in the World War One era.

It contains an undated bound volume of typed poetry on carbon paper by Walker, Walker's history of the St. George Temple copied by his daughter Zaidee Walker Miles, and a brief unbound biography of Abigail Middlemass Walker created by Zaidee Walker Miles. Materials dated 1939-1943.
Emmeline B. Wells poem to Hellen Mar Whitney
Contains a handwritten poem written by Emmeline B. Wells to her step-daughter-in-law, Helen Mar Whitney, dated October 17, 1847, consuling her over the death of a newborn earlier that year in Winter Quarters, Nebraska.
