Andrew Jenson : historian, churchman, traveler, missionary and author
Typewritten draft of a biographical sketch written for the Utah State Historical Society of a Mormon pioneer, missionary, author-journalist and assistant Latter-day Saint Church historian. It describes (mainly through excerpts from his autobiography) his activities in those capacities, as well as his emigration from Denmark to Utah and family data. Also included are two articles by Newell Knight and an article from the Salt Lake City Historian's Office pertaining to "Washington Square."
Willard and Celia Luce collection
Contains manuscripts, correspondence, drafts, and other papers relating to the works of Willard and Celia Luce. It also contains various other materials that include a Provo High yearbook, gifts from friends, etc.
Marshall family family history
Typescripts of personal histories of members of the Marshall family, which include information about their emigration from England to Utah in 1856 and their pioneer journey on the first hand cart company, and poems and songs.
Mormon pioneers : music collection
None Shall Stay Them
Contains an audiocassette tape recording of the musical "None Shall Stay Them," by Nonie N. Sorensen. The musical contains 14 songs inspired by the story of George and Ann Quayle Cannon. Material created in 1991.
Our Grandfather's family : William Felshaw's family
Typewritten biographical sketch which tells of his work on the Kirtland and Nauvoo Temples and of his involvement in early Fillmore, Utah. Also includes genealogical data and a letter from the donor.
William Minshall Evans papers
Handwritten poems and songs. Also included is a biography of Evans written by his granddaughter, Grace McLachlan Foxley, in 1940. The dating of the songs and poems is uncertain. At least one was written when Evans was on his mission in Liverpool, England.
Charles L. Walker and Zaidee Walker Miles papers
Materials include poetry and histories of Walker and his wife Abigail Middlemass Walker. It contains an undated bound volume of typed poetry on carbon paper by Walker, Walker's history of the St. George Temple copied by his daughter Zaidee Walker Miles, and a brief unbound biography of Abigail Middlemass Walker created by Zaidee Walker Miles. Materials dated 1939-1943.
