Framed image depicting a small dwelling with a young man lying on the ground in front, holding a book. The structure, located near the campus of Brigham Young University, was called the Granary. A number of students who were involved in literary pursuits at the university lived in the Granary and nearby dwellings.

Collection contains publicity and prints of paintings done on weathered wood with Native American and western themes. It also includes the famous "Iwo Jima" piece (signed) finished Sept. 10, 2001, and later presented to President George Bush. This print was signed about a year later at the reunion of the 4th Marine Division on Iwo Jima during the historic battle.
