Scope and Contents

Collection contains personal and professional correspondence from Gina Bachauer, publicity and personal photographs, programs, clippings, articles, and other publicity materials for Gina Bachauer performances, itineraries, contracts, financial records and other administrative records concerning Gina Bachauer's career as a concert pianist, personal belongings and audio recordings of her work, and diaries and appointment books recording her daily activities, 1898, 1928-1989.

Collection contains the administrative records for the Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation which includes audio recordings of performances and applicants, ephemera and publicity records regarding the International Piano competition, correspondence from various people and organizations regarding the foundation, and other materials relating to the Foundation and competition, 1958-2007.

Collection contains materials collected by Skaila Kanga dating from approximately 1971 to 2005. Materials include concert programs both solo and ensemble, news clippings, promotional materials, festival brochures, photographs and publications of ensembles and orchestras Kanga participated in, including the Nash Ensemble. The collection also contains audiocassettes and compact discs of musical performances.

Scope and Contents Contains personal and professional papers of Samuelsen. Includes newspaper clippings of his numerous vocal performances in operas and oratorios across the country, with pictures of him performing in them. There are also transcripts of his musings about his childhood in Norway and his life since immigrating to the United States. Scope and Contents The Ellis Schuman collection (1969-2006) include personal correspondence, Schuman's published works, both original works and arrangments for harp. Contains CD recorded interviews of Schuman, Alberto Salvi, Marie Ludwig, and Alice Chalifoux. The collection also includes autographed photos of Marie Ludwig and Mildred Dilling, as well as photographs of Schuman and other prominent harpists. This collection contains correspondence including between Helen and her husband, photogrpahs, newspaper clippings for Grant Johannesen, a scrapbook of Helen's funeral services, hand written notebooks and sketches of musical scores, and digital printouts of scores , program notes, University of Utah and Julliard diploma certificates, a CD of recordings of Helen Taylor compositions, and other papers relating to Helen Taylor, 1937-2003.
